Went to the bank today and was told that since I have only been self employed for 1.5 years that my income could not be added at all and my cosigners income would have to carry her debt and mine. Is there any way around that or is that the way it is? Thanks in advance.

I know this has probably been covered before but here is my situation..Credit scores eq 621 exp 644 transu 637. I am self employed and can verify only about 30% of my income. I know that I will not qualify for a 115K loan with my tax return info. My mother has offered to cosign for me her income is more than adequate to meet the requirements and credit score is somewhere around 800. Is this an easy one, or am I going to have a tough time trying to financed. Thanks in advance.

Hi, We Need to know if we are eligable for a loan. I was recently laid off and am on unemployment looking for work .I live with my two teenage children and my girlfriend. My credit is not great, but I own my home and the land it sits on out right . We have no monthly morgage payment and low monthly bills. Is it at all posible to get a loan and use my home as colateral ?Thanks Tim

I purchased a CA home in 2001 (condo for 150k) A couple of years later I relocated to CT and left my mother in charge which included taking over mortgage expenses (approx $1770). In 2005, I refinanced (200k) to complete upgrades and consolidate debt. Since I lived in CT longer than expected, 2 years, my mother had to be added to the mortgage and deed, shortly after a quick name deed was completed to remove her. It wasn't until later I realized removing her from the deed didn't release her financially. Anyway I've got married 2 years ago and looking to purchase in CT but can't hold two mortgages. I can't put my mother out plus what are the chances of my home selling in this market. I was excited that she offered to purchase the condo to release me to purchase another home but I'm concerned that she may not qualify due to her income. Although there's other relatives residing in the home that contribute I'm not sure if she could use their income to help her qualify. I think the appraised value of the home went down to 165k based on all the web calculators (loan balance 190K at 5.99%). Can you refinance the same amount with a lower market value? and Can she use other income to help her qualify

My mother-in-law lives in FL and has a loan on her mobile home. She's had some problems arise that needed fixing and being on a fixed income she's been trying with her current lender to get a modified loan. They've been giving her the run around and I need to know what she can do to get a modified loan.

Hello , my name is Tina W , my husband and I are in process of selling our home and relocating , i have been the one whom has seen over our finances and have not done such a good job in doing so , we had bad turn for us about 2 years ago when I was out of work for 3 months which caused the monthly late payments for the last 2 years and have struggled to catch up .since then .I am always at least a month out on the mortgage .With the sale of our home we will have @ 30000.00 left over and are wanting to purchase a small lot in Troy Idaho and wanting to pay off all credit cards that exist ,The modular home (KIT) costs at 65-75000.00 and with the unfinished basement costs at 10000.00 and so I am inquiring as to what and how I can go abouts to get a loan , we would like a short term fixed rate I can be reached at 208.669.1701Thank You Tina W
